MARTY AWARDS
2009 MARTY Awards. SFD was nominated by The Mississauga Arts Council for Best Emerging Artist. NEW RECORD IN THE WORKS!!! SFD has been hard at work on writing material for the next record which the band hopes to make this fall with one of a few labels the band is in talks with. Look for the new record to be released late 2009 / early 2010. In the meantime you can preview some of the new material at the live shows.
On September 19 the finalists were announced and although SFD was not selected just being nominated was a thrill given the amazing talent that has been coming from SFD's hometown of Mississauga in the past several years. SFD would like to thank all supporters that came out to the announcements and the band will definitely look forward to a possible nomination next year!
